What is 1V LSD?

Just like 1P-LSD and 1cP-LSD, 1V-LSD is a lysergamide prodrug based on an ergoline structure, meaning that it shares many psychedelic properties with LSD-25 in the laboratory and likely acts via a similar mechanism of action. A prodrug is basically an inactive compound that becomes active when ingested due to chemical reactions during metabolism.

What are the effects of 1V-LSD?

Although the lifespan of 150 mcg blotters of 1V-LSD is still in its infancy, initial reports suggest very similar effects to LSD and 1cP-LSD. However, there are some key differences that appear to distinguish 1V-LSD from other lysergamides.

The most important differences we have identified so far are:

Longer onset of effect - 1V-LSD appears to take around 2-3 hours to reach full effect. Compared to 1-2 hours (or even shorter) for 1cP-LSD and LSD-25.

Stronger visual hallucinations - Many researchers have reported that 1V-LSD produces more intense visual hallucinations at lower or comparable doses compared to other lysergamides.

Shorter duration - reports show that 1V-LSD has a shorter peak (3 hours) and a shorter total duration (6 hours) compared to 1cP-LSD and LSD 25

Feminine being - Many have reported feeling a strong, warm and reassuring maternal presence during their research

So why such different effects?

The most plausible reason seems to lie in the larger molecular mass of 1V-LSD compared to other LSD-25 analogues (and of course LSD itself, which has the smallest molecular mass of all lysergamides), which is likely to affect the way it is metabolised It is absorbed by the body, making it more difficult for the stomach's enzymes to break it down (hence the longer duration of action) and leading to slightly different results.

Despite some initial reports of nausea, which can be common with some lysergamides, almost all researchers rate their overall experience of experimenting with 1V-LSD as positive.

Tests show that 150 µg 1V-LSD is comparable to 125 µg 1cP-LSD. Therefore, please adjust your research accordingly.
