What is 4-HO-MiPT?
4-Hydroxy-N-methyl-N-isopropyltryptamine (also known as 4-HO-MiPT and miprocin) is a novel psychedelic substance of the tryptamine class that produces psilocybin-like psychedelic effects when administered. It is one of a series of psychedelically substituted tryptamines such as 4-AcO-DMT, 4-HO-MET and 4-HO-DiPT, which are thought to produce variations of the core psychedelic effects typical of psilocin.
This substance is relatively rare and has only recently been used in humans. Alexander Shulgin evaluated its effects in humans in 1979 and described a trial with 12 mg as an extremely enlightening and highly erotic experience. A description of 4-HO-MiPT is included in Shulgin's 1997 book TiHKAL. Shulgin's studies and other anecdotal reports suggest that 4-hydroxy-N-methyl-N-isopropyltryptamine is similar in activity to psilocin, the active ingredient in psilocybin mushrooms.

These pellets are a convenient way to conduct research precisely without the need for additional laboratory equipment.
Each pellet contains 20 mg of 4-hydroxy-N-methyl-N-isopropyltryptamine fumarate and can be easily divided into halves when researchers carefully begin their experiments.
What are the effects of 4-HO-MiPT?
The psychedelic effects of 4-hydroxy-N-methyl-N-isopropyltryptamine are thought to be due to its activity at the 5-HT2A receptor as a partial agonist. However, the role of these interactions and how they lead to the psychedelic experience remains unclear.
4-Hydroxy-N-methyl-N-isopropyltryptamine has many overlapping effects with substances such as 1P-LSD and 4-HO-MET.
